Jim Smith
Jim Smith wrote his first ‘full length’ story, Kendal’s
Gold, when he was twelve years
old.
He later studied short story and novel writing with The Northern Writing Bureau
International in England and wrote his first full-length novel, The Battle Of
Dover Fields, soon after (recently adapted into a Screenplay).
Jim wrote his first ‘real’ song I will watch you, when he was thirteen years old. He later studied music and song writing privately and in 1987 won a PATER award for song writing, presented to him by Sir Robert Muldoon (Ex Prime Minister of New Zealand) at the Sydney Opera House, Australia.

Jim writes Screenplays for Feature films, Teleplays for Tele-movies, Musical Stage plays for live theatre (story words and music), Songs and Books.
Jim is a member of the AWG (Australian Writers Guild), ANPC (Australian National Playwrights Centre) and LOTCO (London Overseas Theatre Company).
